No child failed to receive online education during the pandemic: Prakash Javadekar

During the pandemic, no children were deprived of online education because the government had taken several steps in that direction, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said in the Lok Sabha on Monday.

Responding to questions during Question Hour, he said that India has surpassed many countries in providing online education. Access to mohalla schools has been provided to underprivileged children, he said, adding that there are now 34 education channels—22 for higher education and 12 for school education. When asked if the government is going to re-start schools anytime soon, the minister said that several states have taken the initiative and started schools. To know more, watch the full video!
