No question of apologising to Air India: Ravindra Gaikwad

Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad on Saturday refuted all the speculations of him apologising to the Air India crew, saying that there is no such question of him doing that. Claiming his innocence over the whole incident, Gaikwad said that the national carrier's employee, with whom he had a spat is imbecile and not in his senses. "Vo aadmi (AI official) pagal hai, uske khilaaf aise 8 cases hain jhagda karne ke," the Shiv Sena MP said. Air India had banned Gaikwad after he allegedly assaulted a senior crew member of the airlines a few days back. The leader had submitted a regret letter to the Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajpathi Raju later. Ravindra Gaikwad will be meeting party chief Uddhav Thackeray later today.
