Twitter is already entwined in a massive face-off with India for the manipulated media tag. In response to the toolkit controversy, India had proposed some rules, but Twitter averted any alteration. Nigeria, now, has come up with some disagreements with the social media giant and has cited ‘support for secessionists’. Twitter has been accused of double standards by the Nigerian government and indefinitely suspended and blocked the banned platform. The activities were of the platform were suspended 2 days back after the social network deleted a tweet from the President there on Wednesday. Twitter’s bid to play the political referee has backfired as it’s facing backlash from the established governments time & again.
