Nickel futures slide on tepid demand

New Delhi, Oct 26 (PTI) Nickel prices fell 0.76 per cent to Rs 1,152.50 per kg in futures trade on Monday as participants offloaded their positions amid weak demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for November delivery traded lower by Rs 8.80, or 0.76 per cent, at Rs 1,152.50 per kg with a business turnover of 2,197 lots.

Analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to the fall in futures prices. PTI SHW RVK
