Nick Foles to return as Jaguars' starting quarterback

Despite impressing in eight starts for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Gardner Minshew will head to the bench with Nick Foles returning at QB.

Nick Foles will return as the starting quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 11.

Head coach Doug Marrone announced on Tuesday that Foles will replace Gardner Minshew when the Jaguars return from their bye to face the Indianapolis Colts next week.

Foles, who led the Philadelphia Eagles to glory in Super Bowl LII, was placed on injured reserve after breaking his clavicle in his Jaguars debut in September.

Rookie sixth-round pick Minshew has performed admirably in his stead and kept the Jaguars' season alive, winning four of his eight starts.

Minshew has thrown for 2,285 yards with 13 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

However, two of those picks came in a dreadful display in Jacksonville's 26-3 loss to the Houston Texans in London on Sunday, leading Marrone to turn back to Foles.
