New Delhi, June 30 (ANI): A member of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Atif Rasheed, who went to West Bengal along with his team to investigate the post-election violence in the state, on June 30, shared his horrifying experience. He said when he went to Jadavpur, some miscreants from a political party attacked him and alleged it was a well planned conspiracy. Adding to it, he claimed that “local police didn’t cooperate and people are living in fear only military can control the situation”. Since the results of assembly elections in Bengal have been declared, incidents of political violence have been coming to light in the state. The ruling TMC and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have accused each other of attacking their workers.
