New Delhi Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait on Friday said that protesting farmers never intended to make the Red Fort their protest site as being alleged by the police in its charge sheet. In an exclusive conversation with Times Now, Tikait said the agenda of the farmers was only to carry out a tractor parade on the Outer Ring Road and that he doesn’t know how the farmers marched on till the Red Fort. It’s a matter of investigation he said, adding that whatever allegations have been levelled against the farmers in the charge sheet of Delhi Police, the farmer leaders will take them up in the discussion with the government as and when it happens next.
