National Conference president Farooq Abdullah files nomination for Srinagar Lok Sabha seat

After filing his nomination papers Farooq Abdullah addressed a huge gathering of NC workers at the party headquarters in Srinagar and lashed out at the ruling BJP in the Centre.

National Conference (NC) president and former union minister Farooq Abdullah today filed his nomination for the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat at the office of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar.

He was accompanied by NC working president Omar Abdullah, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee president GA Mir and Congress leader and former MP Tariq Hameed Karra.

After filing his nomination papers Farooq Abdullah addressed a huge gathering of NC workers at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

Lashing on the ruling BJP in the Center, Farooq Abdullah said that those who are digging grave for us will themselves fall into it. "Without making better relations with Pakistan, peace cannot be restored in Kashmir," he added.
