NASA found traces of water on moon; report published in Nature Astronomy

NASA has found out that Earth's nearest celestial neighbour has traces of water trapped in the surface. An exciting new discovery made by NASA shows traces of water on the moon. The scientists think that this water could be stored inside a glass bead-like structures within the soil that can be smaller than the tip of the pencil.

Water has been found on the sunlit surface of the moon. This discovery indicates that water may be distributed across the lunar surface and not limited to cold places. The results for the same are published in the latest issue of Nature Astronomy. The date will add to the future work of the moon mission, adds the sources.
