Narada Scam Row: CBI files plea in Calcutta HC; seeks shifting of case outside Bengal

The Narada scam showdown is only intensifying in the Calcutta High Court with the Central Bureau of Investigation urging the High Court to shift the probe outside of the state. This comes days after TMC leaders along with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee staged protests outside the CBI office in Kolkata, after 4 TMC ministers & leaders were arrested by the investigating agency due to their alleged involvement in the Narada scam. The CBI has filed a plea to shift the case out of the state and has mentioned Mamata Banerjee and other TMC leaders in their plea and have cited a threat in the aftermath of the protests that were held by Mamata Banerjee & her supporters.
