Nairobi Stima go top of NSL with win over Black Stars as Ushuru bounce back

In another NSL match played at the same venue, Ushuru FC bounced back to winning ways with win against Modern Coast

Nairobi Stima moved top of the National Super League after claiming maximum points against Kibera Black Stars on Friday.

Former Tusker FC striker Stephen Owusu's first half brace seemed enough to guide the power men to an easy win. Things changed suddenly as the ‘slum boys’ hit back courtesy of Henry Onyango and Wilson Njuguna.

The power men had to work extra harder to get something and fortunately the winner came late into the stoppages through Washington Gicovi.

In another NSL match played at the same venue, Ushuru FC bounced back to winning ways with victory against Modern Coast. The tax men have not been at their best of late, dropping points recklessly and as a result lost control of the proceedings on the table.

It was not business as usual this time round as Ken Kenyatta led side showed determination and hunger to down their opponents. Goals from Barrack Odhiambo, Baron Oketch and Martin Lemaiyan were all Ushuru needed to bounce back and stake their claim in the title race.

Administration Police failed to get something against KCB as they fell 2-1.
