Music director Amit Trivedi talks about his upcoming performance at SulaFest 2018
Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi is all set to put the stage on fire at this year’s SulaFest in Nashik. While on the Bollywood front he is working on Padman and looking forward to Bhavesh Joshi, Fanney Khan and Blackmail, on the music festival front he is gearing up to play live to hundreds of his devoted fans.
Talking about his upcoming set at the music festival, Trivedi says, “Music festivals are all about music, and that’s what I love the most about them. SulaFest is a one-of-its-kind music festival that is an exciting combination of world music, gourmet and wine. Besides, this is my first time here and I am looking forward to it.”
He adds, “I’ve divided my set into two parts; first part is only for the ears and the next is for legs. It’s a mix of film songs and original songs from Coke Studio.”
Joining Trivedi in the headling space will be English electronic-folk band Crystal Fighters, Austrian musician Parov Stelar, British band The Beat featuring Ranking Roger, fivepiece group Bauchklang and the Balkan and Ska band Gypsy Hill. In its eleventh edition, the festival will feature over 100 Indian and international artists from 30 different countries across 25 genres.
In the SulaFest Bazaar section, there a selection of gourmet food, great drinks, charming merchandise and a plethora of fun-filled activities. The latter includes activities such as foot massages, tattoos, tarot reading, grape stomping and special wine tours. And, seeing as the venue itself is a vineyard, there will be plenty of wine to pass around. Along with wines from Sula, there will also be a fine variety of amazing wines, beer and spirits from across the globe.
