Mumbai: I-T Dept conducts searches & unaccounted money worth Rs 5.89 cr has been seized so far

The Income Tax Department has conducted searches in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and it is reported that unaccounted money worth Rs 5.89 crores has been seized so far. Reportedly, these searches have resulted in the detection of undisclosed income of over Rs 270 crores. A prominent builder and a developer group that is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra is currently under the scanner of the Income Tax Department. The real estate group is developing a commercial mall.
