A 31-year-old man was arrested by the Taloja Police for allegedly marrying three women posing as CEO of leading firms. The accused married these three women through matrimonial websites, and he also has children with two of them.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the accused has been identified as Digant Sharma, and was arrested from Juhu. The cops arrested Sharma after they received a complaint from one of his wives, who lives in Navi Mumbai. The woman approached the cops in July and accused her husband and in-laws of harassing her for dowry and forcing her to undergo abortion.

The woman (complainant) met the accused on a matrimonial site and has also alleged that her husband also lived with another woman. On the basis of the complaint, the cops registered an FIR, but couldn’t arrest him as he was absconding. More shocking revelations came forth during the police investigation. The cops found that Sharma has two wives in Gujarat and Allahabad, after which the cops added sections of polygamy against him.

The cops also found that the accused is a college drop-out, but posed as CEO of leading companies on matrimonial sites to befriend women. After arresting the accused, the cops have sent a team to Gujarat and Allahabad to inquire about the women who he allegedly had relationships with.
