Mufti defends her stand for Hizbul chief's sons; says sons can't be blamed for father's actions

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti comes out in defence of sacked sons of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen chief. The Peoples Democratic Party president said that though she was not supporting anyone but a child should not be held responsible for the actions of his father unless and until there is substantial proof. Last week, the Jammu and Kashmir administration had sacked 11 employees, including two sons of Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin, on the grounds that they were working for terrorist organisations. Four of them belonged to Anantnag, three were from Budgam and one each from Baramulla, Srinagar, Pulwama and Kupwara.
