Former Indian captain MS Dhoni may be out of action for the next few months but that hasn't stopped him from fulfilling his fans’ dreams.
In a new video posted on social media, Dhoni can be seen interacting with a fan who seems to have caught up with the keeper at an airport. Even though he’s already seated in his car, Dhoni takes time out to speak to the young boy and can be seen smiling before he shakes his hand and parts ways.
Dhoni last played for India during the ODI series against the Windies at home, having been dropped from the T20 series that followed.
As Virat Kohli informed the media, the decision to make way for Rishabh Pant in the home series as well as next week’s T20 series in Australia was Dhoni’s own as the 38-year-old cricketer is looking at pacing his schedule with an eye on the ICC World Cup in the summer of 2019.
India play Australia in a three-match T20 series starting 21 November at the Gabba. The second T20 is in Melbourne on 23 November followed by the final fixture on 25 November in Sydney.
