MS Dhoni Interacts With Army School Students in Srinagar, See Pics
New Delhi: Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni interacted with Army Public School students in Jammu and Kashmir’s summer capital of Srinagar. This is not the first time Dhoni visited Kashmir. In 2012, the World Cup-winning captain visited the Army base camp of Siachen glacier apart from interacting with Indian Army troops in Srinagar.
Dhoni, who holds the rank of honorary Lt Colonel donned the Army uniform and was seen interacting with excited students. Chinar Corps of the Indian Army later shared images of Dhoni’s visit on Twitter.
“Lt Col (Hony) Mahendra Singh #Dhoni interacting with the enthusiastic children of #APS #Srinagar; emphasised upon importance of #studies and #sports @adgpi @NorthernComd_IA @msdhoni,” read the Twitter post along with images.

Dhoni, who retired from Test cricket in 2014, is very much part of India’s One-Day International (ODI) and T20I side.
India is currently locked in a three-match Test series with Sri Lanka and thus Dhoni is enjoying the little break. He is expected to join the squad for the upcoming limited-overs fixtures, beginning December 10.
The former Indian captain’s place in game’s shortest format has come under scrutiny after his series of poor performances. Some of the former cricketers are of the view that Dhoni should retire from T20Is as well and focus on ODIs only.
