MS Dhoni Becomes CEO of Gulf Oil, But Just For A Day

“He wanted to try this out too.”

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been appointed as the CEO of Gulf Oil India for a day. Dhoni has had a long association with the company and in 2011 he was even named as the brand ambassador.

“As a CEO of the company for the day, Mahi has attended all the special meetings of the company. He will also take quite a few decisions, just like a real CEO. Mahi’s association with the company goes back a long way, and for a long time, he also wanted to understand how a corporate CEO works. He wanted to try this out too,” Arun Pandey, who handles Dhoni’s endorsements, told Sportstar.

The cricketer will be next seen playing for the Rising Pune Supergiants team in the Indian Premier League. In February, he was replaced with Steve Smith as captain.
