Bhopal: 103 COVID hospitals run out of oxygen beds; 400 metric tonnes of oxygen required

As per the official website of the Madhya Pradesh government, all 103 Covid hospitals in Bhopal have completely run out of oxygen or ICU beds and only 30 isolation beds are available currently in the capital of the state. Doctors are updating the status of oxygen levels in the hospital on social media platforms and asking for help from the governments. Yesterday, the Central government increased the quota for several states which are facing severe situations on the ground and Madhya Pradesh is one of them. Earlier the Centre fixed 445 metric tonnes of oxygen for MP, now it has increased to 593 metric tonnes of oxygen. In Bhopal, 400 metric tonnes of oxygen is required to control the situation, but the promised quota by the Center is not visible on the ground.
