Motorola One Action India launch today: Expected price, specs and livestream link

Motorola is all set to launch the Motorola One Action in India today. The launch event will take place in New Delhi and will start at 12pm. You can catch the livestream of the launch event via the company's official Facebook and YouTube channels. The Motorola One Action falls in the same family as the One Vision which launched in India a few months ago. The One Action is an Android One phone that will also sport a 21:9 widescreen display, triple camera setup with an ultra-wide action cam and will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 9605 chipset, among other things.

Following today's launch event, the Motorola One Action will go on sale on Flipkart. The e-commerce platform has a dedicated microsite teasing the arrival of the One Action. The One Action has already been launched in some markets outside India, so we are aware of its specs and design. As for the pricing, the One Action price in Europe is set at EUR 259 (approx Rs 20,000) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. We expect the India price of the One Action to fall just under Rs 20,000.

Motorola One Action specifications

The Motorola One Action sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ CinemaVision display with a 21:9 aspect ratio that delivers a widescreen viewing experience. It gets a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner of the screen much like the One Vision. It gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a vertical triple camera setup on the glasstic rear panel.

As mentioned earlier, the One Action is an Android One device, which means it will run on a stock version of Android 9 Pie. The smartphone is powered by a Exynos 9609 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with support for storage expandability via a microSD card.

The triple camera setup on the back of the Motorola One Action includes a 12-megapixel main camera, an industry-first ultra-wide action cam with enhanced video stabilisation support and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Up front, the One Action gets a 12-megapixel selfie camera hidden within the hole cutout. The smartphone houses a 3,500mAh battery.
