Mosques remain deserted as people offer ‘Alvida-Ki-Namaz’ at homes

Srinagar/Aligarh, May 21(ANI): Mosques in Srinagar and Aligarh remained deserted on last Friday of Ramzan on May 22. Islamic scholars had appealed people to offer prayers from home amid COVID-19 lockdown. The last Friday of Ramzan is known as 'Jumma-Tul-Wida', the word Alvida means 'good-bye’. Religious places have been closed and congregation is prohibited according to lockdown guidelines.
