Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati once again targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, 15 May, and said that Modi’s tenure as the chief minister of Gujarat was a “black stain” on the BJP. She also added that though her tenure as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh was shorter, it was “free of riots and anarchy.”
“PM Narendra Modi was indeed the chief minister of Gujarat for a longer time than I was the CM of Uttar Pradesh. But his legacy is a black stain on BJP and country’s communalism, while in our government, Uttar Pradesh was free of riots and anarchy,” Mayawati said.
The attack is the latest in the string of attacks and comes a day after Mayawati called Modi government a “sinking ship.” She also said that the BJP’s ideological mentor RSS has also abandoned the party.
Mayawati has upped the ante against Modi ever since he targeted her for the Alwar gang rape case and accused her of shedding “crocodile tears.”
Mayawati accused Modi of showing love towards Dalits for political gains and even hit out at the prime minister for leaving his wife.
