Mitchell Starc was once again the undoing of Pakistan as the Aussie Pacer took his 12th five-wicket haul in the first innings of ongoing Australia vs Pakistan 2nd Test 2019. He continued his form from the first match where he took a total of seven wickets and helped Australia win the match by an innings and five runs. Starc ended the second day with four wickets and completed his five-wicket haul today as he dismissed Babar Azam at 97 runs. Mitchell Starc was too hot to handle for the Asian side as the Pakistani batsmen were unable to deal with his ferocious bowling. The left-arm pacer was relentless from the start as he troubled the opening pair of Imam and Shaan Masood before getting rid of Imam in the fifth over. Starc did not make any impact during his second spell but wreaked havoc once he was brought in by Captain Paine for his third spell of the innings. Asad Shafiq became his second victim as he was caught behind by Paine and then Starc quickly dismissed Ifthikar Ahmed and Mohammad Rizwan in one over to finish Day 2 on four wickets. Australia is in a strong position in this match and will be looking to get another series win over Pakistan at home. The home side declared their innings on 589/3 thanks to a special knock from David Warner as the southpaw scored his first-ever triple ton in Test cricket. Labuschagne also played a brilliant knock as he completed his second Test century and scored 164 runs. Australia is in pole position to win this match and complete a clean sweep over Pakistan.
