A Sikh man was shot in his driveway in Kent city of Washington by a local in a suspected incident of hate crime against people of different countries. The victim, who is a U.S. citizen and originally hails from India, was asked by the assailants to go back to his own country before being shot in the arm. The incident follows a shooting at a Kansas bar last month that killed Mr Kuchibhotla, 32, creating shockwaves felt around the country. The Sikh community in the city is in a state of fear and shock after the incident and they seek a speedy trial ahead while standing together in solidarity. People in India have termed it as racial attack and they want Trump administration to intervene in the incident and help the victim get justice. The clear motives behind these incidents are not yet out. However, some feel that these are the fallout of Trump's immigration policies while some believe that this is part of the campaign called "Make America Great Again". The police assured justice to the victim.
