Ministry of Home Affairs review COVID situation in Delhi; house to house survey to begin this week

As COVID cases see a spike in Delhi, big move by the Ministry of Home Affairs has been announced. House to house service in Delhi over the weekend, over 1,000 additional beds and 250 I.C.U units to be available immediately. Also, by the end of the month, 60,000 RT PCR tests per day in Delhi to be done. MHA has also decided for 10 multi-disciplinary teams, which will assess the situation in Delhi.

In just ten days, the testing numbers will be ramped up three folds, as there have been complaints that the testing numbers are not up to the mark. Ministry of Home Affairs have also taken the state authorities in the loop and have discussed the matter with them as well.
