Minimum temperatures hover above normal in Punjab, Haryana

Chandigarh, Feb 11 (PTI) The minimum temperatures hovered above normal limits in Punjab and Haryana on Thursday.

According to officials of the Meteorological Department here, Chandigarh, the common capital of the two states, recorded a low of 10.1 degrees Celsius.

In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a low of 10 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperatures at Ludhiana and Patiala settled at 8.5 degrees Celsius and 8.6 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Pathankot (10.4 degrees Celsius), Bathinda (7.5 degrees Celsius), Gurdaspur (8.5 degrees Celsius) and Faridkot (7.8 degrees Celsius) also recorded above normal minimum temperature.

Ambala in Haryana recorded a low of 8.3 degrees Celsius while the low at Hisar settled at 7.3 degrees Celsius.

Karnal (7.5 degrees Celsius), Rohtak (7.6 degrees Celsius), Bhiwani (10.8 degrees Celsius) and Sirsa (7.6 degrees Celsius) also recorded above normal minimums. PTI SUN TDS TDS
