Miramshah, August 24(ANI): Suspected militants killed an Afghan refugee in northwest Pakistan, accusing him of spying for the United States, local intelligence officials have said.
The bullet-riddled body of the Afghan man was found by the road in the Datta Kheil area of North Waziristan on Tuesday night, the Dawn reports.
An ATM card from an Afghan bank and a hand-written note were found beside the body.
The hand-written note stated that he was caught spying for the United States.
The militants have killed dozens of local tribesmen, government officials and Afghan refugees, over allegations of spying for Pakistan troops or foreign forces operating in Afghanistan after the US-led allied forces toppled the Taliban regime in late 2001. (ANI)
