Xiaomi is expected to unveil the >Mi Mix 2S at MWC 2018 later this month and the rumour mill is constantly churning out new information about the device. The latest is an allegedly leaked spec-sheet of the phone which indicates that perhaps the phone will have an >under-the-display fingerprint sensor.
As per a >report by Gizmochina, the Mi Mix 2S will have a Full Screen 3.0 design giving it a higher screen-to-body ratio than even the >Mi Mix 2. The front camera has been shifted from the bottom to the top right of the phone in the shape of a little cutout. The phone will retain the ceramic design of its predecessor and it will be curved on all four sides. The spec sheet also points to an under-display fingerprint sensor as there appears to be no scanner on the rear of the phone.
The Mix 2S could most likely be the first device to sport Qualcomm's latest >Snapdragon 845 SoC and should be paired alongside 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It's not clear whether there will be other storage variants of the device. In the camera department, the phone is expected to sport dual-cameras as opposed to the single camera system in Mi Mix 2.
However, this information should is only rumour and not fact. None of the previous renders have pointed towards a dual-camera system or an under-display fingerprint sensor. View More
