Chandigarh, Sep 6 (PTI) The maximum temperature at most places in Haryana and Punjab hovered close to normal limits on Sunday, the MeT department said.
Chandigarh, the common capital of the two states, recorded a high of 34 degrees Celsius, it said.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a day temperature of 34 degrees Celsius while Hisar's maximum settled 34.6 degrees Celsius, the Meteorological department said.
Karnal and Narnaul each registered a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius, it said.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a high of 33.7 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature in Patiala was 35 degrees Celsius while the day temperature in Ludhiana was 33.7 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said. PTI SUN AD
