Maoists' threat forces 16 families to leave village

The threat from Maoists has forced at least 16 families to leave their village in Odisha's Malkangiri. The families of Enkanur village of Kalimela have migrated from their village and taken shelter nearby Kurub village. From elderly, women to children, all are facing hardships and battling the crucial circumstances with no essentials. The Maoists, who doubted that many of these family members were acting as messengers for the police, had earlier written a letter to these families threatening them of facing dire consequences.
