Manish Sisodia Claims Account Hacked & Anti-Hazare Tweets Not His

Delhi’s water requirement is 900 million gallons per day, but it is falling short by about 50 MGD since 8 May.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia claimed on Saturday that his Twitter account had been compromised. Apparently "someone" was sharing posts against social activist Anna Hazare from Sisodia’s account.

It was not immediately clear whether Sisodia had regained full access to his account on the micro-blogging site.

Sisodia had played a major role in the “India Against Corruption” movement, led by Anna Hazare and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

In late 2012, Kejriwal branched out to launch the Aam Aadmi Party. Hazare has since been at odds with the AAP chief and frequently railed against him.

Hazare attributed the recent electoral defeats of the AAP to Kejriwal's quest for power.

The Delhi CM has "dashed my hopes", Hazare had said, after the Shunglu panel report had surfaced. The report had levelled allegations of gross abuse of power by the Delhi government.
