The Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi ended its theatrical run a good note after spending seven weeks at the box office.

The Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika has shown strong legs at the ticket window, bringing the first week collections to good Rs 61.15 crores. Despite the release of Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, the collections were good in second week with Rs 23.40 crores followed by decent 10.20 crores in the third week.

Due to the big release of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy on the Valentine’s Day, Manikarnika got impacted and faced a significant drop. The biopic drama closed its fourth week run with Rs 2.40 crores. There was a big budgeted release,Total Dhamaal, starring Ajay Devgan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi and Riteish Deshmukh which took away audience from the biopic drama

Due to good word-of-mouth appreciation, Manikarnika still minted money with Rs 64 lakhs in fifth week, Rs 13.5 lakhs in sixth and Rs 1.5 lakhs in the seventh week, summing up the total to Rs 98 (approx). The film closed its worldwide total of Rs 132 crore. Though the movie could not make it to the 100 crore club domestically, the numbers are significant considering it was a solo Kanagana Ranaut release who drove the film on her shoulder with an exceptional performance.
