Earlier, the victim’s brother, Ram Ratan Saini, alleged murder and claimed that his brother cannot commit suicide.

A body was on November 24 found hanging at Jaipur’s Nahargarh fort main gate. The body was hanging 200 m above the ground. Two stones were also found near the body on which a couple of lines written in Hindi read, “Padmavati ka virodh. Hum putle nahi jalaate hain, hum maarte hain‘ (Protest against ‘Padmavati’. We don’t burn effigies, we kill).” However, there was no independent confirmation if the dead body is related to the anti-‘Padmavati’ protests.
