WHY NOW?

Panchayat elections that are considered to be the backbone of the Bengal polity are scheduled for the first quarter of 2018.

Since the party will take time to establish the new office bearers as acceptable faces to supporters, the elections were preponed from November 2017 to April 2017.

Trinamool has presence in 10 states across the country including its head quarter in West Bengal.

TMC TINTED WITH SCAMS

Working Committee Members are also expected to be changed as an after effect of Sarada scam and Narada sting operation that tinted the party.
