Mamata Banerjee announces fresh Covid curbs, urges Centre for transparent policy on vaccines, O2

In a press conference today, the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that all markets, retailers and standalone shops will now function only from 7 am to 10 am in the morning and from 5 pm to 7 pm in the evening. The local trains in the state will be suspended from tomorrow (May 6). The State transport, including the Kolkata Metro, will function at only 50 percent capacity. She further said "I have written to PM that there is no transparent policy on Vaccine, Oxygen and how to help the people on the ground. COVID-19 is my priority that's the reason I made my first meeting on this." Watch out for the video for more information.
