Maharashtra: 2 killed after aircraft crashes in Gondia

The deceased has been identified as Rajan Gupta, the instructor and Ms Humanity, the trainee.

A flight crashed in Gondia of Maharashtra on Wednesday morning killing two persons. The incident took place at around 9.29 am.

The deceased has been identified as Rajan Gupta, the instructor and Himani, a trainee. The flight crashed neared Bhapewada near Teori power plant.

The crash site is 21.5 nautical mile from Gondia airport. It took off at 9.24 am and last contact was at 9.29 am.

Reason of accident is yet to be known. A committee of inquiry is formed.
