Gadchiroli (Maharashtra), May 20 (ANI): A ‘Period Home’ with modern facilities for tribal women was constructed in Fasi Tola village, Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra. A well-equipped period home was build with the help of Mukul Madhav Foundation and Kherwadi Social Welfare Association. Total 8 to 10 women can live together in this shelter; it has built with the help of wooden sticks and plastic bottles. Some tribal women are subjected to unfair treatment during menstruation cycle. "The previous facility lacked basic amenities but this has electricity, fan and water facility is available," says village Sarpanch.
