Maharashtra Home Minister responds on Bhandara hospital tragedy; orders immediate probe

Maharashtra woke to shocking news today, wherein 10 infants lost their lives in a fire incident in the Bhandara Hospital. The cause of the incident is suspected to be an electrical short circuit in the hospital. An RTI response has revealed that the Hospital lacked bare minimum fire security equipment. The state government has ordered an immediate inquiry into the matter and has asked all government-run hospitals to get a fire audit. RTI activist Vikas Madankar spoke to Times Now and revealed the details. The distraught parents seek justice for their infants who lost their lives. Maha Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has reacted to the incident and has called for an immediate probe.
