Vaccination for bed-ridden begins as Maharashtra Govt won't wait for centre's approval

A new development in the door-to-door vaccination, Maharastra Government told Bombay High court today that they would not be going to wait for Centre's nod for door-to-door vaccination and proceed with door-to-door vaccination. Home vaccination for bed-ridden to start in Pune as an experimental basis. In this regard, the Bombay High court earlier has asked for a detailed plan and new guidelines from the state government. The state government has said that if this experiment is successful, then they will start this initiative, especially for bedridden people, in other states as well. Earlier also, in the Patiala district, with the health department, 11 villages were jabbed in the door-to-door vaccination.
