Maharashtra: Former CM Devender Fadnavis detained in Nagpur, Protesting on OBC reservation issue

The issue of Maratha reservation in Maharashtra is once again in discussion. BJP leaders are continuously protesting the demand for reservations. The former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis has been detained in Nagpur. He was protesting with other BJP leaders on the OBC reservation issue. In fact, BJP leaders across the different districts in Maharashtra have been detained. Remember that the Supreme Court had given a big decision regarding the Maratha reservation. The SC has declared Maratha's reservation unconstitutional in the field of education and jobs. Supreme Court has also said that the Maratha community cannot be declared socially, educationally backward for quota.
