The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray has mocked the Governor’s meeting with Kangana Ranaut. The CM has written a letter to the Governor questioning his meeting with the actress. In his letter, he has explicitly inquired the Governor for welcoming people who have called his state and his administration as PoK, further adding that this is not his idea or understanding of Hindutva.
The Governor had previously questioned the Thackeray government turning secular whilst interrogating why bars were open in Maharashtra and not places of worship.
The CM replied to this, stating that his idea of Hindutva ideology does not require a certificate from anyone nor do I need to learn about Hindutva from anyone.
Without naming the actress, he further goes on to mock the Governor by talking about him meeting someone who has compared his state to PoK and this definitely does not align with his Hindutva ideology.
