Maharashtra CM imposes COVID restrictions; Section 144 imposed from tomorrow

Maharashtra Chief Minister imposed restrictions for next 15 days amid COVID surge in the State. Chief Minister urged people to observe ‘Janta Curfew’. He said that restaurants will be allowed for home delivery. Fuel pumps, e-commerce services allowed, said the Chief Minister. He said that public transport will operate in Maharashtra but only for essential services. All shops to remain closed except essential services. Restrictions to be imposed in the State for next 15 days. ‘There is no other option but to increase curbs in the State. Section 144 to be imposed from tomorrow.
