Maharashtra: BMC forms new oxygen supply guidelines, govt announces new restriction in the state

As the Covid-19 cases are spiking in the state of Maharashtra and an oxygen crisis is prevailing in the nation, now BMC has formed strict guidelines for oxygen supply in the state. As per the guidelines by BMC, hospitals have to register their requirements prior 24 hours to the suppliers and if the required amount of oxygen is not available within the next 16 hours hospitals can report to the control room of the department office, then department office will be responsible to take quick measures regarding the situation. Maharashtra government has also enforced fresh Covid related restrictions in the state. From today, no one can travel from one district to another, it will be only permitted to people with a valid reason or in a case of emergency.
