Maha Vikas Aghadi Government has set up a committee headed by a retired High Court judge to probe the corruption allegation leveled by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. One member panel is given six months time to report to the state government. Bhartiya Janata Party continues to demand the resignation of Home Minister Anil Deshmukh alleging that the probe is not going to be fair as long as he holds the post.
