Maha CM Uddhav Thackeray calls for an urgent meeting after rise in COVID cases recorded

Maharashtra: COVID-19 cases once again see a spike. The Union Health Ministry recently claimed that 72% of the active COVID cases are being reported from two states, that is Maharashtra and Kerala. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray called for a review meeting, in order to take stock of the situation. An urgent meeting has once again been called by the Maharashtra CM, which was also attended by the Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Health Minister of state. The state has reported a rise in the COVID cases in Amravati and Akola. CM Uddhav Thackeray warned the people of a lockdown again.
