Madhya Pradesh: Shivraj Singh Chouhan Govt to form new ‘Cow Cabinet’ for protection of cows

Madhya Pradesh: The Bharatiya Janata Party government has decided to constitute a 'Cow Cabinet' for the protection and promotion of cows in the state. This is the first such initiative in the country by any state government.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that animal husbandry, forest, panchayat and rural development, revenue, home and farmer welfare departments will now be a part of the new 'Cow Cabinet'.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also said that the first meeting of the Cow Cabinet will be held on November 22 at the Kamdhenu Gau Abhayaranya (cow sanctuary), located in Agar-Malwa district of the state.
