Madhya Pradesh: Deepnakheda Police Station Turns Into Discotheque; Watch Video

The entire arrangement was done to celebrate cancellation of Station House Officer's (SHO) transfer order. A DJ was installed in the premises of the police station and police men were seen dancing on Bollywood tunes.

Vidisha, Nov 20: Shocking visuals emerged from a police station in Deepnakheda in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district as the place meant for maintaining law and order was transformed into a virtual nightclub. Policemen were seen swinging on popular Bollywood song ‘Tamma Tamma’ inside the premises.

The entire arrangement was done to celebrate cancellation of Station House Officer’s (SHO) transfer order. A DJ was installed in the premises of the police station and police men were seen dancing on Bollywood tunes.

SHO Yogendra Parmar had been transferred. Later, Parmar’s transfer order was cancelled– which apparently prompted the officer to throw a party for colleagues.

The over-zealous policemen lapped up the opportunity to put their hair down and dance their hearts out. However, it seems that the officials forgot that a decorum has to be maintained at a government office and that people would be watching their act. The video has gone viral. It is still not known whether any action was taken against the erring officers.
