A special cabinet meeting was called today by the Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan in order to discuss the anti-Love Jihad law. While the debate over the love-jihad law in Uttar Pradesh continues, the Madhya Pradesh cabinet has approved the bill. The special cabinet meeting was headed by the Home Minister of M.P Narottam Mishra. Madhya Pradesh has become the second state after Uttar Pradesh to have an Anti-Love Jihad bill. A media briefing is likely to happen soon, headed by Home Minister Narottam Mishra. The bill will now be tabled in the Assembly, which will begin on Dec 28. The draft was prepared after noticing the provisions that are present in the U.P bill of Love Jihad.
