Madhya Pradesh: 10 dead after truck rams into house in Jabalpur, angry locals torch police vehicle

The private bus was on its way from Mandla to Jabalpur when the accident happened. The injured were rushed to Jabalpur Medical College.

Ten people were killed and six were injured today as a truck rammed into a house and a tea shop in Jabalpur's Barela in Madhya Pradesh in order to save passengers who were de-boarding a bus nearby.

Sources said that the truck was speeding when the driver lost control over it. The truck then rammed into the tea shop, instantly killing the people sitting there.

An auto was badly damaged in the accident too.

Following the incident, angry locals torched a police vehicle.
