The voting in the third phase of Lok Sabha 2019 elections will be held on Tuesday, 23 April, in 117 constituencies across 13 states and two Union Territories. This is the largest phase of all the seven phases as Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Karnataka, Assam, Odisha, Tripura, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Daman and Diu, West Bengal, Goa, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli will be polling on Tuesday.
About 18.56 crore voters are eligible for voting in this phase and the Election Commission has set up 2.10 lakh polling booths/stations and has made elaborate security arrangements.
Here's how to search for polling booth via SMS:
The voter can search for their booth if they have access to their voter ID. The voter will have to type EPIC, followed by space and the voter ID number and send it to 51969 or 166. Within minutes, the voter will receive a message with details of the booth.
